Happy, happy, Joy, joy. It's almost vacation time! Hurrah! Hooray!
And the best part of leaving for vacation--is packing! Okay, maybe that's not true for all of you, but for those of you with obsessive compulsive tendencies, who are anal retentive and like to plan way, way, way in advance, then yes, you like to pack (like me!).
However, the only things I really plan on packing is my reading material.
Clothes and stuff? I dunno. I just shove whatever into a suitcase. Hopefully I remember my underwear.
These are the books I'm packing for Kauai (and yes, I'm sure you've noticed, I ended up not succumbing to buying that deliciously seductive Kindle PaperWhite I've been eyeballing for months on Amazon.com):
{obviously}
{Incendiary by Chris Cleave, The Wind Through the Keyhole by Stephen King and Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovksy}
Three books may seem ambitious for a week long trip, but I am a voracious reader. And I'm also a planner. I want to make sure I have back-up reading just in case I'm not wholly satisfied with something that I've picked up. You can't assume you're going to love them all.
