Books!

Bryan and I are so excited about the secondhand bookstore that opened up at the Wharf.  It's a joint project from the Maui Library and Carol, the woman who used to own the Old Lahaina Book Emporium.

I loved, loved, loved the Old Lahaina Book Emporium.  It was this tiny, narrow space crowded with tall bookshelves.  All the books were secondhand, and you could come in and trade or sell or buy used books.  I was so sad to see it close down, but here it is again in all of its glory at the Wharf, and guess what?  Now all the books are even cheaper.  Price range for a hardcover is anywhere from a buck to four whopping dollars!  Paperbacks go for $1 to $4.  I love this place.
