When we woke up on Day 4, Bryan and I took the hotel's car service to The Wynn to meet Ashley for brunch.
The Wynn was by far the swankiest, classiest casino we toured.
The Wynn's main lobby features installations with hanging ornaments made from flower blossoms and intricate, colorful tile mosaics across all the floors.
The Sports Book at The Wynn:
Our brunch at The Terrace was incredible! We started with the biscuits and gravy:
Ashley and I ordered the same breakfast: huevos rancheros served in a heavy cast iron skillet.
Floral arrangements are all over the Wynn. I was loving this bounty of orchids:

After walking around The Wynn, we headed across the street to check out the shopping at the Fashion Show Mall.
From outside, it looks like an alien mothership:
Obviously, Ashley and I had a good time shopping around together:
{rocking masks at our new favorite store: Top Shop!}
After our rounds at the mall, Bryan and I parted ways with Ashley to go see Gravity at the IMAX theater in 3D--totally thrilling movie and must be seen in 3D.
Once Bryan and I had sufficiently calmed down after watching the movie (seriously, it made us sweat it was so suspenseful), we came back to the hotel, cleaned up, and met Ashley and her friend downstairs at our hotel bar for cocktails before Bryan and I went to our fancy pants dinner at Mastro's (a whole separate blog post).
The lounge at the Platinum was our daily escape. Bryan and I got happy hour here almost every afternoon during our stay. Happy Hour was from 4 to 8 every day with great deals on their list of signature cocktails, glasses of wine, bottles of wine and their appetizer menu.
It was such a blast meeting up with Ashley after her summer of travels and adventures. It'll be fun to catch up with her again sometime in the future to see what else she's been up to.
After our round of drinks and an hour of chatting, laughing, catching up we all parted ways for our separate dinner plans.
