I got the very filling, very ono Fried Rice Loco Moco. The dish is an egg over easy on top of a hamburger patty doused in gravy. It is worth the heart attack I may suffer later today.

More Jazz
It was a great show!
Jazz!
A coworker informed me that Lahaina is having a small Jazz and Blues festival. I'm so glad he said something, otherwise I would have had NO idea! I got home after working lunch at the restaurant and immediately began looking up the venues and artists.
After looking up musician biographies and music, I decided to go to Pioneer Inn at the Lahaina harbor to watch David Paquette.
They set him and a piano in the courtyard in the middle of the old inn.
This is David Paquette playing live at another venue (it's not specified in this clip). He's great, isn't he?
One of his old friends, clarinet player Phil Smith, has moved to the island and joined him on stage for a few numbers.
David Paquette was a treat, but Phil Smith was tremendous! I snagged him on his way off the stage and asked him if he was going to keep playing around the island. He said that we would be seeing a lot more of him.
David Paquette rocked his banded fedora all night.
It was a great show, and I'm looking forward to watching David Paquette rock out tomorrow at the closing ceremony at Hard Rock Cafe tomorrow afternoon (2 pm to 5 pm at the Lahaina location).
