I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
As you can see, my costume wasn't a huge departure from my true personality. I was just letting my inner nerd shine through! It was a super easy and cheap outfit (the only purchased items were my glasses and black suspenders). Everything else was already in my closet (including my sweet boy's button down shirt). When I got to work, I added some tape to the bridge of my glasses. It's all about the details, man.
I wasn't able to really partake in all of the Lahaina Front Street madness since I was inside the restaurant working all night, but I did get to see plenty of costumes as locals and tourists paraded in and out. It was quite the bustling night at work, but the energy was amazing. Thankfully, my night was over fairly quickly. I was out of the building by 10 pm, and Bryan picked me up and took me home. We just chilled out at the house with some wine and hung out with our neighbor, Will, before we put on season 2 of The Walking Dead.
Boo!
