For J's last night in Maui we had dinner at Gerard's. With very little persuasion I was able to talk J into getting the eight course Land and Sea menu with me.
We were brought a lot of silverware at the start of the meal which kept getting replaced as we moved through each course.
The Red Snapper fish filet was one of my highlights of the night, but the rack of lamb was outstanding.
And of course, we got dessert. Chef Gerard came out to personally realign my sliding layers of Napoleon pastry, cream, strawberries and homemade jam.The food couldn't have been better, the company couldn't have been more pleasant. In short, the evening was absolutely perfect.
