I was headed to my employee meeting at the restaurant, but I didn't get very far with a flat tire. Thankfully, Will was able to swap out my flat for the spare when we got home from the meeting.
I took the car to the Tire Warehouse in town. I was told that it would take them about one to two hours to get to my car and replace the tire.
Luckily, Star Noodle is just up the street.
I walked up there, chit chatted with Bryan who took a break from work to see me, and then I went into the restaurant to relax in the air conditioning and get a mean vodka cocktail from Zane at the bar. While I was waiting for my car, Newton sent me out some complimentary brussels sprouts.

Bryan got off from work early, so we zipped home on the scooter and did laundry while we waited on the car.
We didn't have to wait much longer (although I did fight an epic ant epidemic in my living room). Once the car was retrieved and the living room was put back in order and the laundry was underway again, Hana and I took off (finally!) for the beach.
We went back to my favorite: Kapalua Bay.
{thumbs up for the bay!}
{Beaty sisters at the Bay!}
Another highlight of the day: winning Employee of the Month at work.
{I got a lei, a mini surfboard trophy, and I purchased some wine at cost at our employee wine sale}
After getting back from the beach, we cleaned up, got Bryan and went into town for mega cheeseburgers at Cool Cat Cafe before seeing Pacific Rim. Totally awesome monster movie, by the way.
{Hana about to chomp down on The Duke: a cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce}
Tomorrow is Iao Valley, Lavender Farm and Makawao!
