Bryan and I bought tickets to see a local production of Les Miserables at the MACC's Castle Theater.
This is what I wore:
{cropped tank from Salt on the Rocks with a high waisted skirt}
We drove towards Kahului and had dinner at Cafe O'Lei at the Dunes golf course.
{Opakapaka also known as Hawaiian Pink Snapper with vegetables in a tomato basil sauce}
{Bryan with prime rib, mashed potatoes and a popover}
After dinner and wine, we drove to the theater, picked up our tickets at the box office, and got ushered to our seats--in the second row.
We had a great view of the orchestra pit!
I had such a great night at the show. It was exciting seeing one of my favorite musicals performed on the stage again, and the cast and musicians were all incredibly talented and did the difficult score plenty of justice.
A huge highlight of the evening was the great crowd! The theater was packed to the rafters with audience members--including the mayor! Everyone seemed to be loving the show, with the audience laughing, cheering, and giving standing ovations (at the end of the first act as well as after the finale).
You can still see Les Miserables at the MACC all next weekend. Get your tickets now! It's selling out fast!
